Kristen Anne Bell is an American actress and performer born in the year 1980. Parents include Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier who are both news director on television. She was raised and from Huntington Woods Michigan. Kristen was born in the town of Huntington Woods, Michigan with the family of a Polish mother and father who is German, English Irish, Scottish, and Irish. Kristen developed a talent for the arts at an early age on stage. She went to her audition in 1992 and was offered the role of Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell was appointed by her mom to become an agent when she was just thirteen years old. She was then cast for newspaper ads and commercials on TV. Along with having private lessons in acting, she launched her career around that time. Bell was in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 as an uncredited actor. Bell studied at Shrine Catholic High School where she participated in the music and drama clubs. In her school's show of The Wizard of Oz, Bell was cast as Dorothy. After graduation Bell made the move to New York City to attend the highly regarded Tisch School of the Arts in which she was a musical theater student. Bell quit college in 2001 when she took the role of Becky to play Tom Sawyer. In 2001, it was also when Bell's debut appearance was in a film that was credited to her, Pootie Tang (2002). The scene she appeared in was cut and the credits are all that show her. Bell made her debut in 2002. Bell was on her first Broadway revival of The Crucible with Liam Neeson as well as Angela Bettis.
